Introduction
Thoughts are expressed through a set of sounds and symbols. Such means of expression must be such that the listener or the readers gets the thought exactly as the speaker or the writer. Wrong use of singular and plurals brings serious confusion in communication. They are therefore thoroughly discussed to add flavour to speeches and writings. Concrete and abstract nouns confuse a lot in clarification of thoughts when wrongly used. Concrete and abstract nouns pose a lot of challenge in pluralization in terms of sentence constructions. Count and non-count nouns are one of the basic aspects of nouns that confuse a lot of English Language learners as a second language. Derived nouns – nouns formed from other words – are also given the proper attention. All the other aspects of the nouns are seriously handled.
